Johadtech was founded in Aba in 2020 with a direct problem statement: businesses across South East Nigeria were paying Lagos prices for mediocre digital work and then calling us to fix it. We decided to be the answer, not the complaint.
We don't operate on the assumption that being based in Abia State means accepting reduced scope or quality. Our engineering team has shipped production systems for clients in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, the UK and the diaspora. Our digital forensics practice has produced evidence reviewed in Nigerian courts. Our SEO work has pushed Umuahia and Aba businesses onto page one of Google against competition from Lagos agencies.
This is not a freelance collective. Johadtech is a structured engineering agency. Every project has a lead engineer, a design reviewer, and a QA process. Nothing ships without passing our internal checklist not because we're bureaucratic, but because we're accountable.
We run the Johadtech Academy an internal program that trains junior engineers and designers from Abia State into production-capable professionals. Every intern we take is a deliberate investment in the South East tech ecosystem.

Founded in Aba
Started with web development for local businesses. First client: a textile trader in Ariaria Market who needed an invoice system. Built it in four days.
2021
SEO & GMB Division
Added structured SEO and GMB services after seeing how many Abia businesses were invisible on Google Maps despite operating for years.
2022
Forensics Practice Launched
Established our digital forensics division after a client needed to recover evidence for a contract dispute. The evidence held up in court.
2023
Johadtech Academy Opens
Launched our internal training program. First cohort: six engineers from Aba and Umuahia. Four are now on our full time team.
